Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - December 2023 "Traditional Christmas"

Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop for December 2023 where we are using the theme "Traditional Christmas".  I took this as being traditional colours - red, green and yellow and the Merry and Bright Designer Series Paper was perfect for this!

Scrapbooking Global is a Facebook group especially for scrappers who use Stampin' Up! products.  It's a great place to visit for some scrapping inspiration, and everyone is so supportive of each other.  If this sounds like you, please drop by for a visit and see for yourself :)

This month we are featuring traditional Christmas themes/colours in our layouts. 

I had a lot of fun creating this layout, featuring this cheeky kid.  I've used a bunch of stamps from the Stars At Night stamp set to create the fireworks, and some stamps from the *new* Love This Moment set that you can check out after 3 January!  Since taking the photo, I have added some journalling in that blank spot under the photo.

My tip for layouts like this is to be guided by the photo - in this case, the bright colours of the toys in the photo really needed some bright colourful papers to complement them.  If the colours in this photo had been more muted, I may have softened my colour palette a bit.
